Normal Operation
Under normal operation the wiper motor receives input from the PCM through circuit 679 (GY/BK) with vehicle speed information. The wiper motor electronics then determine the speed of the wiper motor.

Possible Causes
- Open or short to ground in circuit 679 (GY/BK).
- Inoperative vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
- Inoperative wiper motor.
