FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS

Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The LF door power window motor must be reinitialized whenever the LF window glass is removed from the vehicle.

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the weathershield.
3. Remove the front door speaker.
4. Disconnect and position aside the exterior mirror electrical connector.
5. Remove the front door glass inside moulding.
6. Remove the front door window glass run channel bolt.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

7. Remove the rivets.
1 To install, lower the front door window glass as necessary to access the rivet holes.
2 Install new rivets.

8. Remove the front door window glass.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
10. If the work was carried out on the LF door, reinitialize the LF window regulator.
