Rear Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

Removal and Installation







1. Fully raise the rear door window glass and tape in position.
2. Remove the rear door interior trim panel.
3. Remove the weathershield.
4. Remove the rear door speaker.
5. Disconnect the window regulator motor electrical connector.
6. Remove the 3 window regulator motor screws.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

7. Use a flat-blade screwdriver between the window regulator motor and window regulator assembly to hold the window regulator assembly drum in place.
- Remove the window regulator motor.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
