Pinpoint Test D: Transmission Control Indicator Lamp (TCIL) Does Not Illuminate

Test D1-D2:

Normal Operation
When the TCS switch is depressed, a light on the dash will illuminate O/D OFF. When the TCS switch is depressed a second time, the lamp will go off.

Possible Causes
If the TCS switch is depressed and the does not illuminate, the possible causes could be:
^ Faulty PCM
^ Short to ground
^ Short to open
^ Faulty TCS switch
^ Wiring, terminals or connectors
