Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: Access to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) tube is through the right front wheel well.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve system module tube upper fitting.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

3. Disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve system module tube lower fitting.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

4. Remove the EGR system module tube.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
