Removal and Installation
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the cooling fan.
3. Remove the upper fan shroud.
4. Loosen the 4 coolant pump pulley bolts.
5. Remove the accessory drive belt.
6. Remove the 4 bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
7. Remove the 4 coolant pump bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

8. CAUTION: Do not rotate the coolant pump housing once installed in the engine. Damage to the O-ring seal can occur, causing the coolant pump to leak

Remove the coolant pump.
^ Install a new 0-ring seal and lubricate with clean engine coolant before installing the pump.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
10. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
