Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Remove the front stabilizer bar.
4. Remove the engine front cover.
5. Remove the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
6. Remove the oil pump bolts and the oil pump.

Installation






1. NOTE: Oil pump must be held against block until bolts are tightened.

Align the inner rotor of the oil pump assembly to align with the flats on the crankshaft, and slide the oil pump toward the block until it is seated against the block.
2. Rotate the oil pump assembly to align with the bolt holes.
^ Tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
3. Install the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
4. Install the engine front cover.
5. Install the front stabilizer bar.
6. Fill the engine with clean oil.
