BODY SUPPORT - NUMBER 3Removal and Installation
1. Remove the rear seat.
2. Remove the B-pillar trim panel.
3. Position the carpet aside and remove body isolator plug button.
4. NOTE: Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
Remove the body support bolt, washer and lower body support mount.
- To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
5. CAUTION: When removing upper body mounts, all other body mounts must be loose before raising the vehicle body to prevent damage from occurring to the vehicle.
Remove the upper body mount.
- Carefully raise the vehicle body enough to allow removal of the upper mount.
6. NOTE:
- Do not reuse body support mounting fasteners. New fasteners must be installed for each fastener that has been removed or loosened.
- No lubricants of any kind are to be used during body mount installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
