Liftgate Latch Remote Control

LIFTGATE LATCH REMOTE CONTROL

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.
3. Disconnect the 2 liftgate latch remote control electrical connectors.
4. Remove the 3 liftgate latch remote control screws.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

5. Position the liftgate latch remote control forward.
6. Disconnect the liftgate latch actuating cable.
7. Disconnect the liftgate window latch actuating cable.
8. Remove the liftgate latch remote control.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
