COMPASS CALIBRATION - WITHOUT MESSAGE CENTER

1. NOTE: For optimum calibration, drive to an open, level location away from large metallic objects or structures. Switch off all non-essential electrical accessories (rear window defrost, heater A/C, map lamps, wiper, etc.) and make sure all the doors are closed.

Start the vehicle.

2. Enter the compass calibration mode by pressing and holding the TRIP/RESET button for 8 seconds. The instrument cluster display will then show CAL.
3. Slowly drive the vehicle in a circle at no more than 5 km/h (3 mph) until CAL turns off in the instrument cluster display (approximately 5 circles).
