Normal Operation
If all of the doors are unlocked, the button on the liftgate may be pressed to activate the liftgate release actuator. The liftgate needs to be manually lifted until the liftgate struts can assist in opening the liftgate to the full-open position.

Possible Causes
- vehicle security module DTC B2666 liftgate release switch circuit failure
- vehicle security module DTC B2669 liftgate release relay coil failure
- circuit 77 (DB/YE) open
- circuit 202 (OG/LG) open
- circuit 664 (YE/LG) open, short to ground or short to power
- circuit 913 (GY/RD) open or short to ground
- circuit 1205 (BK) open
- liftgate release switch
- liftgate remote control assembly
- liftgate release actuator relay
- vehicle security module
