Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

1UR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ACCELERATOR PEDAL: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / ALL Date / Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

(e) Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

Standard Voltage:

Accel Sensor Out No. 1
Accel Sensor Out No. 2










If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal position sensor, wire harness or ECM.
