Disassembly

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 4 screws [A] and No. 1 heater to register duct.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 heater to register duct.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT





(a) Remove the screw [A].

(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

4. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 4 screws [A] and defroster nozzle.

6. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 2 screws [A] and No. 3 heater to register duct.

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Remove the instrument panel cushion.

8. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH

(a) Remove the 6 screws [A] and No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.





9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Detach the 18 clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.





10. REMOVE SUNSHINE SENSOR HOLE COVER





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the sunshine sensor hole cover.

11. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER





HINT
Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 meter hood retainer.

(a) Remove the screw [A] and No. 1 meter hood retainer.

13. REMOVE SIDE DEFROSTER DUCT ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Detach the 4 clips and claw and remove the side defroster duct.

14. REMOVE SIDE DEFROSTER DUCT ASSEMBLY RH

15. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System) Removal
