Disassembly
EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: DISASSEMBLY
1. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL
(a) Detach the 15 clips and remove the hood to radiator grille seal.
2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
HINT
When removing the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille (or front panel) emblem using a heat light.
Standard:
NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body or radiator grille (or front panel) emblem excessively.
(a) Put protective tape around the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.
(b) Insert piano wire between the vehicle body and radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.
NOTICE:
Be careful of the boss positions.
(c) Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.
(d) Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem to the vehicle body.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
(e) Remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM BASE (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
(a) Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem base.

(b) Remove the 2 spring nuts.
(c) Detach the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem base.
4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
(a) Put protective tape around the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

(b) Remove the 2 spring nuts.
(c) Detach the claw and remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.
5. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Wide View Front Monitor System) Removal
6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET LH
(a) Remove the bolt and radiator grille bracket.
7. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
