BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE ACTUATOR: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR
(a) Install the brake actuator to the actuator bracket assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48in-lbf)
2. INSTALL BRAKE ACTUATOR WITH BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET
(a) Install the brake actuator with brake actuator bracket with the 2 bolts and nut.
Torque: 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the brake tubes and wire harness.
(b) Connect the actuator connector.
NOTICE:
Make sure that the connector is locked securely.
(c) Temporarily tighten each brake tube to the correct positions of the brake actuator assembly as shown in the illustration.
- *1: To Front Wheel Cylinder RH
- *2: To Front Wheel Cylinder LH
- *3: To Rear Wheel Cylinder RH
- *4: To Rear Wheel Cylinder LH
- *5: From 2nd Master Cylinder
- *6: From 1st Master Cylinder
(d) Using SST, fully tighten each brake tube.
SST: 09023-00101
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11ft-lbf)
(e) Install the air conditioner tube bracket with the bolt and connect the wire harness clamp and air conditioner tube clamp.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87in-lbf)
3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE Installation
4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
7. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID Service and Repair
8. BLEED BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY Service and Repair
9. BLEED BRAKE LINE Service and Repair
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
11. BLEED BRAKE ACTUATOR Service and Repair
12. CHECK FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
13. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Service and Repair
14. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
15. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
16. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
17. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION
