Removal








AIR CONDITIONING: ELECTRIC INVERTER COMPRESSOR:

REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
3. REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP Removal

4. SEPARATE INVERTER RESERVE TANK SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. DISCONNECT POWER STEERING ECU BRACKET Removal

6. REMOVE INVERTER COVER Removal

7. VERIFY THAT VOLTAGE OF W/ CONVERTER ASSEMBLY IS 0V Removal

8. INSTALL INVERTER COVER Removal

9. REMOVE BATTERY Removal

10. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

11. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE NO.1






(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant discharge hose No.1 from the electric inverter compressor.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant discharge hose No.1.
NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

12. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE NO.1






(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction hose No.1 from the electric inverter compressor.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant suction hose No.1.
13. REMOVE ELECTRIC INVERTER COMPRESSOR






(a) Disconnect the connector (A).
(b) Release the green-colored lock (B).
CAUTION: Wear insulated gloves when performing the procedures.

(c) Disconnect the connector (C).
NOTE: Insulate the connector by sealing it with tape.





(d) Remove the 3 bolts and electric inverter compressor.
14. REMOVE SERVICE VALVE






(a) Remove the bolt and service valve.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the service valve.
