REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION
Service Precautions
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working Service Precautions.
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER Removal

6. REMOVE DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly connector.






(b) Remove the 2 bolts and the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly.
