Reassembly

1. On new seat frame sub-assembly detach seat cable and wire harness.





A. Remove the E-ring and detach clamp.

B. Detach both clamps at white tape location.

C. Disconnect wire harness connector and clamp.

D. Pull out cable and wire harness from cushion cover hole.





2. Install seat hinge cover.





3. Install inner seat reclining cover.

A. Attach the claw to install the cover (both sides).

B. Install the screw for each cover.





4. Install reclining cable to clamp.





5. Install seatback cover with pad.

HINT

If seatback cushion was torn during disassembly process, repair using .5 mm felt tape.

A. Place seatback cover and cushion onto frame.

B. Push cover down about half way.

C. Install the 4 headrest supports (LH only).





D. Install the 2 headrest support (RH only).





E. Install headrest assembly with cable.

HINT

Use screwdriver to release lock and install headrest on center headrest.





F. Attach cable to clamp at area # 1.

G. Connect cable to link lever at area # 2.

H. Attach cable clamp to cable and frame at area # 3.





I. Install seatback protector.

J. Pull down seat cover completely.





K. Insert cable and wire harness through seatback cover hole.

HINT

Wire harness is routed on the outside and cable is on the inside.








L. Attach seat cover hooks to the frame.





M. Install seat cover tabs on each side between the frame and seat cushion.





N. Set the front seat cover flap against seat frame then set rear seat cover on top of front flap.





0. Attach the seat cover hook in the bottom area.





P. Install 2 screws and tighten with cover and protector (LH seat only).

6. Install rear seat hinge pawl guide.





A. Install the guide with the screw.





B. Attach the 5 claws to install the guide.





7. First insert bottom area claws then push the bezel into the rear lower seatback.





8. Install the seatback cushion and plastic spacer/washer.

NOTE

If spacer/washer is not installed, rattle may occur.





9. Place seat cushion and cover on the seat frame then route cable and wire harness through cushion cover hole.

HINT

Wire harness is routed on the outside and cable is on the inside.





10. Install the seat stay sub-assembly to the stud bolt secure with spring clip.

11. Install reclining cable.

A. Connect the cable and install the e-ring to secure it.





B. Attach the cable to the clamp.





12. Connect the wire harness connector and attach the harness clamp.

13. Install seat cushion cover with pad.

A. Attach the 3 hog rings to seat pad and carpet.

B. Install long thin pad against seat frame.





C. Wrap the center portion of the pad with the remaining carpet material.





14. Install seat belt assembly with nut.

Torque: 42 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 35 in*lbf)

15. Install rear seat lock cover.





A. Attach the 2 clamps to Install the 2 covers.

B. Install the 2 screws.





16. Attach the 4 claws and 2 screws to install the seat leg cover.

17. Install seat cushion cover.

A. Place cover on the seat assembly.

B. Route seat stay through access hole.

C. Route wire harness through access hole.

D. Attach seat bracket cover (4 claws).





E. Install 7 screws.








F. Attach the 16 claws to secure the cover.





18. Attach the 4 claws to install 2 Seat Cushion Lock Covers.





19. Install seat link assembly with bolt and nut.

Torque: 8.8 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in*lbf)





20. Attach the 2 claws to install the rear seat inner reclining cover.





21. Install reclining adjuster cover RH.

A. Open seat back to the upright position using pull strap.

B. Attach the 5 claws in the order shown to install the cover.

C. Install the screw.





22. Install reclining adjuster cover LH.

A. Attach the 3 claws in the order shown.





B. Install the screw.





23. Install the seat leg cover # 2 with the screw.





24. Install rear seat leg cover.

A. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

B. Install the 2 screws (1 black 1 silver).

C. Connect seat stay to seat frame.

D. Install the rear seat leg upper cover.

25. Install reclining adjuster release handle.





A. Attach handle and install screw.





B. Attach the 2 claws to install cover.

26. Install rear seat leg bracket.





A. Install bracket with nut and bolt.

B. Attach the 4 clamps and 1 connector clamp.





C. Install rear Seat ECU by attaching 2 claws and connect connectors.





27. Attach the 2 claws and install the screw (silver). Install seat cushion cover.





28. Install power seat motor assembly.

A. Install 4 hexagon bolts to secure the motor.

Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in*lbf)





B. Connect the 2 connectors and clamp.





29. Close the zipper and install center headrest storage bag.
