Disassembly
1. Remove power seat motor assembly.A. Disconnect the connectors.
B. Using 5 mm hexagon wrench remove 4 bolts and motor with connector.
2. Remove screw (silver) and detach the 2 claws to remove the seat cushion cover.
3. Remove fold seat control ECU.
A. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
B. Detach the 2 claws and remove ECU.
4. Remove rear seat leg bracket.
A. Detach the 4 clamps and 1 connector.
B. Remove the bolt nut and remove bracket.
5. Remove reclining adjuster release handle.
A. Using a screwdriver detach the 2 claws and remove cover.
NOTICE
Tape screwdriver tip before use.
B. Remove the screw and remove the release handle.
6. Remove the 2 claws and remove the rear seat bracket cover.
7. Remove rear seat leg cover.
A. Using a screwdriver remove the spring clip of the seat stay ball joint.
B. Disconnect the seat stay.
C. Remove the 2 screws (black and silver).
D. Detach the 2 claws and remove the seat leg cover.
8. Remove seat leg cover # 2.
A. Remove the screw.
B. Move seat leg down.
C. Remove cover.
9. Remove reclining adjuster cover LH.
A. Open the seat back using the pull strap.
B. Remove the screw.
C. Detach the 3 claws in the order shown then remove the cover.
HINT
Pull upward on the cover to detach.
10. Detach the 2 claws and remove the inner reclining adjuster cover.
HINT
Inner cover may be removed during outer cover removal. If so, please detach for reassembly process.
11. Remove reclining adjuster cover RH.
A. Remove the screw.
B. Detach the 5 claws in the order shown then remove the cover.
HINT
Pull upward on the cover to detach.
12. Remove 3rd seat link assembly.
A. Fold seat back down using pull strap.
B. Flip seat assembly over on the opposite side.
C. Pull up on the seat striker remove the bolt and remove seat link.
13. Detach 4 claws and remove the 2 seat cushion lock covers.
14. Remove seat cushion under cover.
A. Detach the 16 claws using a plastic pry tool.
B. Remove the 7 screws.
C. Remove the seat bracket cover by detaching the 5 claws and remove seat cushion under cover and seat bracket cover.
15. Remove leg cover.
A. Remove 2 screws.
B. Detach 4 claws and remove cover.
16. Remove seat lock cover.
A. Remove the 2 screws.
B. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the 2 covers.
17. Detach the nut and remove seat belt retainer from stud bolt.
18. Cut 3 hog rings and remove rear seat cushion carpet.
19. Detach seat cable and wire harness.
A. Remove the E-ring and detach clamp.
B. Detach both clamps at white tape location.
C. Disconnect wire harness connector and clamp.
D. Pull out cable and wire harness from cushion cover hole.
20. Using a screwdriver remove spring clip and remove seat stay assembly.
21. Remove seat back rubber cushion.
A. Flip seat over so seatback is on top.
B. Remove the screw and seat back rubber cushion with plastic spacer/washer.
22. Detach the 3 claws and remove the seatback lock bezel.
HINT
Grab top portion of bezel and pull backwards.
23. Remove rear seat hinge pawl guide.
A. Detach the 5 claws and remove the hinge cover.
B. Remove the screw and remove the guide.
HINT
Push up on guide to detach and remove.
24. Remove seatback cover with pad and headrest.
A. Open the zipper (LH seat only).
B. Detach bottom seat cover fastener.
C. Pull out the center headrest storage bag (LH seat only).
D. Detach the 2 hooks (LH seat only).
Detach 1 hook (RH seat only).
HINT
To detach the RH seat hook, slide it towards the center.
E. Remove 2 screws (no screws on RH seat).
F. Open seat back using pull strap.
G. Remove seat bottom cushion and cover.
H. Remove wire harness and cable from seat cushion cover hole.
I. Detach the plastic flap on each side of the seat then pull seatback cover half way up.
J. Remove the seatback protector.
K. Detach the 2 headrest control cable clamp and disconnect the cable.
L. While releasing the lock inside the headrest support remove the headrest and cable (LH side only).
M. Detach the 8 claws and remove the headrest supports (LH seat only).
N. Remove 3 inner headrest covers and lift up cushion cover to gain access to the corner headrest support.
NOTICE
Removing the corner headrest support may cause damage to the support. Replace support if needed.
O. Inspect seatback cushion pad for cracks or tears. If crack or tear occurs repair with .5 mm felt strip.
P. While releasing the lock inside the headrest support using a screwdriver remove the headrest and cable (center headrest only).
Q. Detach the 4 claws and remove the headrest supports (RH only).
R. Remove the seatback cushion and cover with pad completely. No need to separate cushion from cover.
25. Remove Inner seat reclining cover.
A. Remove the 2 screws for each cover.
B. Detach the claw and remove cover.
26. Remove seat hinge cover.
