TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU: REMOVAL
NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization Initialization after registration Registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU after the ECU and/or a valve and transmitter has been replaced.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
w/ Navigation System:
NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) for Power Seat:
Remove the rear No. 2 seat Removal.
(b) for Manual Seat:
Remove the rear No. 2 seat Removal.
3. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER Removal
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal
5. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE Removal
6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 TRIM HOOK Removal
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH Removal
9. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Detach the clamp.
(b) Disconnect the ECU connector.
(c) Remove the bolt and ECU.
