METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT: INSPECTION


1. INSPECT LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
(a) Inspect the light control rheostat.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:






(b) Inspect the ODO/TRIP switch.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






(c) Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination condition.
OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rheostat.
