Removal
HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: DUCT TEMPERATURE SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
- w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
3. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly Removal.
4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the rear No. 1 seat assembly Removal.
5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly Removal.
6. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly Removal.
7. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER Removal
8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal
9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal
10. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE Removal
11. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (for Semi Power Seat) Removal
12. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal
13. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (for Semi Power Seat) Removal
14. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH Removal
15. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT PROTECTOR Removal
16. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT PROTECTOR Removal
17. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 clips.
(b) Fold back the floor carpet.
HINT:
Fold back the carpet until it is possible to remove the rear No. 6 air duct.
18. REMOVE REAR NO. 6 AIR DUCT
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(b) Remove the 5 screws and duct.
19. REMOVE DUCT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 sensors.
