Removal

BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (w/ Cool Box) Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (w/ Cool Box) Removal

3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL (w/ Cool Box) Removal

4. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (w/ Cool Box) Service and Repair

5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
- w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Cool Box)
(a) Remove the front seat assembly LH Removal.
7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Cool Box)
(a) Remove the rear console box sub-assembly Removal.
8. REMOVE COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Cool Box)
(a) Remove the cooling box assembly Removal.
9. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.
(b) Disconnect the sensor connector and then detach the clamp from the sensor bracket.
