BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: REAR SPEED SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
- w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
3. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
(a) Disconnect the speed sensor LH connector.
(b) Detach the 2 clamps and remove the bolt and sensor clamp.
(c) Detach the 5 clamps.
(d) Detach the 3 clamps.
(e) Disconnect the speed sensor RH connector.
(f) Remove the bolt.
(g) Disconnect the connector, and remove the bolt and skid control sensor wire.
4. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR LH
(a) Remove the nut and speed sensor.
NOTICE:
Pull out the sensor while trying as much as possible not to rotate it.
5. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR RH
(a) Remove the nut and speed sensor.

Pull out the sensor while trying as much as possible not to rotate it.
