THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENTRY LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH (for Front): INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE LH






(a) Install the handle by pushing it in the direction of the arrow in the illustration.






(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, tighten the screw.
(c) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH Reassembly

3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Reassembly

4. INSTALL DOOR TRIM COVER LH Reassembly

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR PANEL CUSHION Reassembly

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Reassembly

7. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT UPPER ARMREST BASE PANEL LH Reassembly

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH Reassembly

10. INSTALL FRONT LOWER DOOR FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH Reassembly

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

12. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
