DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR DRIVE UNIT: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY






(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the power back door unit.
(b) Install the 4 bolts.
Torque: 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)
(c) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL REAR UPPER PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

3. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH Reassembly

4. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH Reassembly

5. INSTALL CENTER BACK DOOR GARNISH Reassembly

6. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH Installation

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER CAP (for Rear No. 2 Seat with Manual Folding-up Function) Installation

8. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Installation

9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE Installation

10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation

11. INSTALL REAR STEP COVER Installation

12. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT
(a) w/ Automatic Folding-up Function:
(1) Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly RH Installation.
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

(b) w/ Manual Folding-up Function:
(1) Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly RH Installation.
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

14. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER RH Installation

15. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER RH Installation

16. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
