INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Perform a DTC check, and check that the display and navigation module display (EMVN) code 58-43 is not output.

B -- GO TO DTC 58-43
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE)





(a) Enter the "Navigation Check" mode and select "Vehicle Sensors" Operation Check.
(b) While driving the vehicle, compare the "SPD" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost equal.
OK:
The readings are almost equal.
NG -- CHECK SPEED SIGNAL
OK -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
3. CHECK SPEED SIGNAL
(a) Refer to "Speed signal does not change in the navigation check mode" in the problem symptoms table Problem Symptoms Table.
NEXT -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
