CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: LEXUS LINK SYSTEM: PRECAUTION

1. NOTICE FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE (-) BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. INSPECTION PRECAUTION FOR LEXUS LINK SYSTEM
(a) When the mayday battery runs low, the telephone ECU assembly stores DTC 6-1. Perform troubleshooting according to the malfunction indicated by DTC 6-1.
3. WHEN REPLACING TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY (MAYDAY ECU)
(a) If replacement of the ECU is necessary, replace the mayday battery (backup battery) together with the ECU. After the replacement, register the ECU Programming and Relearning.
