Removal

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Removal







6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER
(a) Remove the 3 screws.
(b) Detach the claw and remove the cover.
7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the hood lock nut cap.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and nut.
(c) Disconnect the connector.






(d) Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock.
