INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When replacing the parking assist ECU, perform initialization of the front television camera.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA)





(a) Disconnect the F37 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the A43 camera connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK PARKING ASSIST ECU





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:






NG -- REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY





(a) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

Measurement Condition





NG -- REPLACE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GVIF CABLE)
(a) Replace the harness and connector (GVIF cable).
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Wide View Front Monitor System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs Wide View Front Monitor System.
OK:
DTC 5C-40 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU
OK -- END (GVIF CABLE IS DEFECTIVE)
