Applicability
Introduction
Some customers with 2006 2008 model year RX 400h vehicles may experience a M.I.L. "ON" condition with DTC P0A78 with information codes 286 and/or 287 (Drive Motor A Inverter Performance). The inverter with converter assembly has been improved to address this condition.
NOTE
This TSIB applies ONLY if information codes 286 AND/OR 287 are present.
Production Change Information
This TSIB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.
Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Hybrid System Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 96 months or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
