Power Transistor (w/ Rear Cooler):

POWER TRANSISTOR (w/ Rear Cooler)

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
3. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT SUPPORT PLATE
4. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL RH




5. REMOVE POWER TRANSISTOR
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 screws and power transistor.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL POWER TRANSISTOR
a. Install the power transistor with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL RH
3. INSTALL REAR FLOOR MAT SUPPORT PLATE
4. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
