POWER TRANSISTOR (for Rear Heater)

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX
3. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX
4. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL
5. REMOVE LOWER CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
7. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM RH
8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
9. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH




10. REMOVE POWER TRANSISTOR
a. Slide the floor carpet backward.
b. Disconnect the connector.
c. Remove the 2 screws and power transistor.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL POWER TRANSISTOR
a. Install the power transistor with the 2 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
3. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM RH
5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
6. INSTALL LOWER CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
7. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL
8. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX
9. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
