PRECAUTION

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.
- Variable Gear Ratio Steering System
- Meter / Gauge System

1. INSPECTION PRECAUTION FOR LEXUS LINK SYSTEM
a. The GPS antenna assembly for the LEXUS Link system is installed under the instrument panel. Metal objects on the instrument panel may affect the reception of the GPS antenna assembly.
b. When the Mayday battery runs low, the Mayday ECU assembly sets DTC 6-1. Perform troubleshooting according to the malfunction indicated by 6-1.

2. WHEN REPLACING MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY
a. If replacement of the ECU is necessary, replace the Mayday battery (backup battery) together with the ECU. After the replacement, register the ECU.
