Title: M.I.L. "ON" DTC P0A7A, INFORMATION CODE 325
Introduction:
Some 2006 RX 400h vehicles may exhibit a M.I.L. "ON" condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0A7A and information code 325. The service parts and procedures in this bulletin apply ONLY when certain specific parameter values are confirmed through Freeze Frame Data. An updated inverter/converter is available to correct this specific condition.

2006 model year RX 400h vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change
Effective VINs shown.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Hybrid Component Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 96 months or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
Required SSTs:
NOTE: Additional Diagnostic Tester Kits, CAN Interface Modules, Program Cards, or other SSTs may be ordered by calling SPX/OTC at 1-800-933-8335.
Repair Procedure:
1. Access the DTC Freeze Frame Data on the Diagnostic Tester.
2. Print copies of the following and keep with the hard copy of the repair order:
- DTC (P0A7A) Freeze Frame Data
- Information Code (325) Freeze Frame Data
3. Inspect the Freeze Frame Data Lists and confirm that the listed criteria are met.
NOTE: If ANY of the criteria above are different than specified, this TSB does NOT apply. Proceed with the diagnostic instructions outlined for DTC P0A7A in the Repair Manual.
4. Proceed with replacement of the inverter assembly, as outlined in the Technical Information System (TIS), 2006 model year RX 400h Repair Manual: P310 Hybrid Vehicle Control: Inverter with Converter: Removal/Installation.
