Introduction
This is to inform you of the seat heater replacement procedure. A change has been made to allow separate installation of the seat heater element.

Applicable Vehicles
All 1998 through 2000 LX 470 models.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

^ Hog Ring Pliers
^ Adhesive Tape

How to use the Tacker:
As shown above, drive in a tack pin with the tacker and fix the seat heater to the seat cover.
