Carpet: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEATS

Torque: 37 N.m (375 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEATS

Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)

a. Fold the seatback down.
b. Unlock the seat lock, and swing the whole seat up and forward.
c. Remove the 4 bolts and rear No. 1 seat.

3. REMOVE REAR MAT SET PLATE




a. Remove the 5 screws.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear mat set plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. REMOVE NO. 3 REAR SEAT PROTECTOR




a. Remove the screw.
b. Remove the No. 3 rear seat protector.

5. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. No. 3 seat front bracket cover
b. No. 3 seat bracket support cover
c. No. 1 rear seat protector
d. No. 2 rear seat protector
e. Front seats

Torque: 37 N.m (375 kgf.cm, 27 ft.lbf)




6. REMOVE CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX
Using a screwdriver, remove the console cup holder box.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL




a. Remove the transfer shift lever knob.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear console panel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




8. REMOVE CENTER LOWER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
Using a screwdriver, remove the center lower cluster finish panel, then disconnect the connectors.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




9. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX
Remove the 2 screws and front console box.

10. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Front door scuff plates
b. Rear door scuff plates
c. Front door opening trims
d. Rear door opening trims

11. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the seat belt floor anchor cover caps.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the bolts and front seat outer belt floor anchors.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar lower garnishes as shown in the illustration.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

12. REMOVE REAR FLOOR CARPET
13. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET




a. Remove the 4 bolts.
b. Remove the power amplifier.
c. Remove the front carpet.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
