Front Lower Arm

REPLACEMENT

1. Replace No. 1 bushing.
a. Using a chisel and hammer, pry up the flange of the No. 1 bushing.





b. Using Special Service Tool (SST) 09710-30021 (09710-03101), 09950-00020, 09950-00030, 09950-40011 (09957-040103) or equivalent, remove the No. 1 bushing.





c. Using SST 09726-36010 and a press, install a new bushing.





2. Replace No. 2 bushing.
a. Using SST 09710-22021 (09710-01071), 09726-35011 (09726-05021), 09830-36010, remove the No. 2 bushing.





b. Using SST 09631-32020, 09830-36010, install a new bushing.





3. Replace dust cover.
a. Remove the wire and dust cover.
b. Coat the ball joint with grease in the boot kit.
c. Install a new dust cover and wire.
