Air Deflector
This is a "Trustmark Authoring Standards (TAS) Repair Procedure"
- TAS style procedures can be identified by steps that have no accompanying step text and the magenta color of the electrical connectors and fasteners such as nuts, bolts, clamps or clips.
- TAS removal and installation procedures use a sequence of color illustrations to indicate the order to be followed when removing/disassembling or installing/assembling a component.
- Many of the TAS procedures will have the installation information within the removal steps.
- The TAS color illustrations use a variety of symbols to indicate important details of the procedures. It is important to understand these symbols in order to properly used the TAS procedures.

Removal
1 Open the roof opening panel.
2 Remove the interior mirror.

3 Remove both A-pillar trim panels.

4 Remove both B-pillar upper trim panels.

5 Remove both front passenger assist handles.




6 Remove both sun visors.
7 Starting from the front edge, carefully release the headliner for access.





CAUTION: Protect the surrounding paintwork to avoid damage.





Installation
1 Install the air deflector.
Install the hinge pivots to the air deflector.
Tension both springs.
Locate and secure the air deflector hinge pivots.
2 Carefully install the headliner.
3 Install the sun visors.
4 Install the passenger assist handles.
5 Install both B-pillar upper
trim panels.

6 Install both A-pillar upper trim panels.

7 Install the interior mirror.

8 Manually check the operation of the air deflector.
