Removal

1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel and tire.
3. Remove the halfshaft.

4. CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the mating faces.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the edges of the component.





Installation

1. CAUTION: Make sure that the seal is correctly located.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the seal.

Using the special tool, install a new rear halfshaft oil seal.

2. Install the halfshaft.
3. Install the wheel and tire.
