Front Suspension

Front Stabilizer Bar

Service Repair No - 60.10.01


Removal

CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension.

NOTE: Only use clean water as a lubricant for the bushing, if required.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheels and tires.
3. Remove the driveshaft.
4. Remove the catalytic converters.

5. CAUTION: Make sure that the ball joint ball does not rotate.

Disconnect both stabilizer bar links.
Torque:
60 Nm

Discard the nuts.





6. WARNING: Make sure that new nuts are installed.

Tighten in the sequence shown.
Torque:
175 Nm

Repeat the above procedure for the other side.





7. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the stabilizer bar bushings.





Installation

1. CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
