Coolant Pump

Removal

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the battery tray.
4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
5. Drain the coolant.
6. Remove the A/C compressor, lower support bracket.





7. Release the accessory drive belt tension.





8. Remove the power steering pump support bracket





9. Release the power steering pump.





10. NOTE: Discard the gasket.

Remove the coolant pump.





Installation

1. NOTE: Install a new gasket.

Install the coolant pump.
Torque:
17 Nm

2. CAUTION: The accessory drive belt must be in position before the power steering pump is installed.

Install the power steering pump.
Torque:
25 Nm

3. Install the power steering pump support bracket.

Torque:
25 Nm

4. Install the accessory drive belt.
5. Install the A/C compressor, lower support bracket.

Torque:
25 Nm

6. Install the air cleaner assembly.
7. Install the battery tray.
8. Install the engine cover.
9. Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.
10. Fill and bleed the cooling system.
