Evaporative Emission Canister

Service Repair No - 17.15.13


Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the rear driveshaft.
4. Remove the RH fuel tank shield.
^ Remove the 8 bolts.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.





5. Remove the evaporative emissions canister.
^ Remove the 2 bolts.
^ Disconnect the 3 lines.





Installation
1. Install the evaporative emissions canister.
^ Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
^ Connect the lines.

2. Install the RH fuel tank shield.
^ Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the rear driveshaft.
4. Connect the battery ground cable.
