Service Repair No - 86.10.03
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Loosen the 3 cooling fan pulley bolts.
4. Remove the cooling fan drive belt.
5. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner.
6. Remove the cooling fan pulley.
^ Remove the 3 bolts.
7. Remove the cooling fan drive hub bearing.
^ Remove the 5 bolts.
NOTE: Note the fitted position.
8. Remove the accessory drive belt.
Installation
1. Install the accessory drive belt.
2. Install the cooling fan drive hub bearing.
^ Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs).
3. Install the cooling fan pulley.
^ Install the bolts but do not fully tighten at this stage.
4. Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
^ Tighten the bolt to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs).
5. Install the cooling fan drive belt.
6. Tighten the cooling fan pulley bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
7. Connect the battery ground cable.
