Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the air intake resonator.
4. Remove the coolant expansion tank.
CAUTION: Always protect the cooling pack elements to prevent accidental damage.
NOTE: The thread is right handed.
5. Using the special tools, release the cooling fan.
6. Remove the engine undershield.
7. Remove the engine compartment RH heat shield.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.
^ Remove the 2 screws.
8. Release the engine mount.
^ Support the engine.
^ Remove the nut.
9. Remove the engine mount.
^ Using a transmission jack, raise the engine clear of the engine mount.
^ Remove the 2 bolts.
Installation
1. Install the engine mount.
^ Clean the component mating faces.
^ Lower the engine onto the mount.
^ Tighten the nut to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs).
^ Tighten the bolts to 56 Nm (41 ft. lbs).
2. Install the engine compartment RH heat shield.
^ Tighten the screws.
^ Tighten the nuts.
3. Install the engine undershield.
4. Install the cooling fan.
^ Tighten the cooling fan to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs).
5. Install the air intake resonator.
6. Install the coolant expansion tank.
7. Connect the battery ground cable.
