Upper

REMOVAL
1. Support rear of chassis on stands, allow axle to hang freely.





2. Remove fasteners (2), upper link bracket to frame.





3. Remove fasteners (3), upper links to pivot bracket.
4. Remove upper link (4) complete with frame bracket (4).
5. Remove bolt (5).
6. Separate link (4) from bracket (4).

RENEW BUSHINGS
1. Press out rubber bushing (6).
2. Install bushing (6) centrally in housing.

NOTE: Apply pressure to outer edge of bushing (6), and not rubber inner.

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse removal procedures 1 to 6.
- Do not fully tighten fasteners until all components are in position.
2. Tighten fasteners to correct torque as follows:
- Upper Link To Mounting Brackets: 176 Nm.
- Mounting Bracket To Crossmember: 47 Nm.
