Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Place tray to catch fluid.

CAUTION:
^ Power steering fluid damages paintwork.
^ Any spillage must be cleaned immediately.

2. Disconnect battery negative lead.





3. Remove clips (3) securing hoses to reservoir.
- Release hoses.
4. Loosen clamp screw (4) securing reservoir.
- Remove reservoir.

INSTALLATION
5. Position reservoir, then tighten clamp screw (4).
6. Connect hoses to reservoir.
- Secure with new clips.
7. Fill reservoir with Dexron IId ATF or equivalent suitable power steering fluid.
8. Reconnect battery negative lead.
9. Bleed power steering. Service and Repair
