Thermostat: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle on four post lift.
2. Disconnect battery negative lead.
3. Raise lift.
4. Drain cooling system.





5. Slacken 3 upper hose clips. Disconnect hoses from top of thermostat housing.
6. Slacken lower hose clip screw, release thermostat from radiator cowl.
7. Remove thermostat from radiator hose.

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse removal procedure.
2. Refill the cooling system.
