NOTE: Numbers in parentheses ( ) below refer to numbers in the illustration.

REMOVAL
1. Remove brake pads.
2. Using a suitable hose clamp, clamp flex hose at caliper.
3. Remove banjo bolt (7) securing flexible hose to caliper. Discard sealing washers.
4. Plug caliper and hose to prevent ingress of dirt.
5. Remove two bolts (5) securing caliper.
6. Remove caliper (6).

INSTALLATION
1. Clean exposed parts of caliper pistons with brake fluid.
2. Install caliper to hub and secure with bolts. Tighten to 165 Nm (122 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove plugs from caliper and hose.
4. Using new sealing washers, position hose to caliper. Secure with banjo bolt. Tighten to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove hose clamp.
6. Install brake pads with chamfer towards leading edge of disc (towards rear of vehicle). Swivel caliper downwards into position.
7. Install new guide pin bolt, then tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
8. Bleed brakes. Brake Bleeding
9. Install road wheels, then tighten to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
10. Remove safety stands. Lower vehicle.
11. Press brake pedal firmly several times to seat brake pads.
12. Check fluid reservoir level and top off, if necessary, using correct grade of fluid.
