Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Check Maxi-Fuse (R) MF2 and Fuse F3 of the Engine Compartment Fuse Box (P125).

2. Check Fuse F18 of the Fascia Fuse Box (P126).

3. If the Front Blower Motor (M101) does not stop running with the Fan Speed Switch (X179) in Position 0, replace the Fan Speed Switch (X179).

4. If fresh air does not enter the vehicle cabin with the Air Supply Selector Switch (X180) in the Outside Air position, check the Air Recirculation Solenoid (K123) and linkage for sticking or binding.

5. If the blower motor(s) operate with the ignition key removed, replace the Ignition Load Relay (K127).

6. If the blower motor(s) run but not at the speed indicated by the Fan Speed Switch (X179), replace the Fan Speed Switch.
